Antonia Lofaso
Antonia Lofaso's cuisine offers a chance to discover the depths of her cooking. Her food is a result of her interest in the culture that is Los Angeles, which was inspired by a visit to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Carnitas and Cavatellis on the same menu is what she believes in. The dishes she serves share a single concept, that is embracing the moment and reminiscing on the past. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso founded in 2013, was a huge success due to the fact that it was influenced by her Italian tradition. Lofaso has received praise for her unique interpretation of Italian dishes. Lofaso is described by many as a local favorite who consistently delivers meals that are delicious, authentic and inviting. Lofaso worked as an apprentice to culinary masters learning their methods as well as taking risks. She was not afraid in doing so, merely following her instincts. She quickly climbed the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and went on to make a difference in the kitchens of famous chefs in Los Angeles while working closely with numerous celebrities. Lofaso created Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Lofaso had found home in the Black Market. Her creative independence would be fostered by this collaborative effort. Black Market is not constrained to a specific direction and that is the intention. This course would begin with dill-flavored potato chips, Shishito peppers, and continue with Korean wings. What binds this diverse variety of tastes is Antonia. Lofaso's success has been measured by her ability to be authentic to her own taste while knowing her viewers. She's been on of many television shows, like Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars as well as Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents are still being showcased in her role as a judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso has teamed up in partnership with Penguin In 2012, she teamed up with Penguin to publish The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 recipes for Delicious Home-cooked Meals. This book also tells her story about the obstacles she faced while studying at her first French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso believes that all her successes stem from her love of cooking. She is capable of keeping her finger on the pulse of this field by staying on the kitchen. She is transforming the style by redefining chef's attire for style and functionality with her own brand Chefletics. Lofaso is determined to stay true to the vision of her clients. She's created Antonia Lofaso Catering to help achieve that.
