Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira born May 26th, 1978 Campinas Sao Paulo Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime from March 2020. The analyst she is working with currently managing the Assassination Witness project, and is an integral member of the the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. The GI TOC's research focuses on the assassination of people (including disappearances) as well as violence and other types of crime related to illicit economics. Her research interests encompass the effect of organised crime on human and humanitarian rights as well as legislation and policies. The experience she has gained as a lawyer has included four years of practicing in a law firm that specialises in litigation involving public law. Her past experiences also included helping in roles with non-governmental organisations with their headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
