Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actress and a singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American actor and singer. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen's passion for acting was discovered at a very young age. When she was in 1992, the actress appeared at her first audition and won a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent before she was 13, and she got her first role for television and newspaper commercials. As well as learning in private classes, she began her acting career in the year 2000. Bell had a role that was not credited on Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell was a part of the music and drama groups of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the starring Dorothy part. Bell went on to study musical theatre at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell quit university in 2001 to take on the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part has been cut out and the credits only show her. Bell played in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
